Do I have this right,... is the LBZ pump from the '07 model, and does it have better flow than previous models? Is the same pump used on the '08 & '09 models? I'm getting ready to do a dual cp3 setup and want to use this pump for my second pump,.... anyone know of a low mileage available pump,... maybe from a wreck? How much?

the 01-05 dmax cp3's are rated to flow 110mm3 at 23,000psi. The 06+ LBZ/LMM dmax CP3's are rated for 115mm3 at 26,000psi.

I think those are the right specs, I could be wrong though. But basically, yes, the 2006+ CP3's flow more than the 01-05 ones. You can probably pick up a 2006+ CP3 for 450 or so, maybe more maybe less.

Looks like a regulator and/or tuning difference to me but that's just my$.02
 
LBZ cp3

The LBZ is an '07,..right? It is a different pump than previous models and the flow variance is due to the pump, per PPE. I have found several out of state but they won't ship them,.... I can only pick them up and that isn't possible. They were between $350 and $450 ea. I'd like to find one that is under 40k miles, if possible.

Any help would be appreciated.

So that is the model then that I am looking for? It does have the best flow numbers? Confused why GM would have backed off of this cp3 for late '07 thru '09 or is it even better? Tks for the help.

no, the CP3's from 2006 to the current model year (2009) are all the same.

The 2006+ CP3's do flow more than the 01-05 CP3's. Its more than just a different fuel pressure regulator (or FCA, as the dodge guys call it).

I called my local dealer and he gave me a number for this cp3 as:

97361351

Can someone verify that this is the right number. This guy was NO brain surgeon for sure.
