Diesel smell in cab?

Friends truck has some leak he says it has strong diesel smell under hood and in cab when ac is running. Anyone have this problem before and also would it be covered under the 100k motor warranty.

That should be covered under warranty. I would start by checking the fuel bowl.

Almost guarantee that it is the fuel pressure regulator o ring seal. Part # 3c3z-9c065-aa.

check the test port on the fuel regulator. I got an 05 that did the same thing.
