Different version of the Comp box?

I know that there are new versions of the comp box. Mine is 8.0 I believe. Just curious if anyone could elaborate on the differences. Are there any differences in programming, or is it just newer, updated hardware or just as simple as different production runs?

Mine is a few years old now, but has always worked flawlessly, and I'm pleased with the performance. Just curious if there is anything I'm missing out on.

I've had three different versions and can honestly say I couldn't really tell much of a difference other then the original version would hesitate when the outside air temp was below 30*.
