Hi,

Has anyone here ever done their own hardlines? I pulled mine today to find out that they're beyond repair.

I thought I'd just buy a set online but they're $400-700 for a set? wtf?

Anyway, I can find S/S hardline for about $10/ft which is much more palatable. But what is the flare type at the line ends?

Are there any common mistakes I should look out for?

thanks

Long story short. Currently factory lines. My cummins came out of a truck. 2/6 are so expanded with rust that if I blow through it it will probably break.

Thinking about stepping up a size.

Why not just buy straight lines already made and bend them yourself? By the time you buy the line and tools to do the flares and the nuts, you waisted more money then buying straight ones

! You sir are a giant among men. I never even knew that was an option. I live on a rock in the sea so part knowledge is limited to specific makes only.

Thanks

Look in the for sale section on here. there are a bunch of stock lines for sale.
