dpf delete tuning question

Im looking for options for a friends 6.4 he wants to delete the dpf filter now were looking for tuning options other than sct and spartan tuning is there other options for deleting the filter i think the price for those might be a little high for him i would have already bought the spartan 275:rockwoot:
 
i know theres something called dpf-r, but heard that they were something to stay away from
from what i understand about it, which isnt much, it only tricks the computer into thinkin the sensors are still in range to keep regen from happening

edge is releasing their "race" version soon kinda a all in one gauges, delete, and power.
 
wow, that sounds great nbowlin, cant wait to see what they come up with, but i dont think edge, or at least the inline edge, doesnt program the tranny....(not for sure though)
 
It doesnt say it in the add but from what edge is saying it will have the dpf delete option.
