Drilling crossover tubes?

I have looked around a bunch and heard of guys doing it, but have not really heard why. I guess i understand the more fuel flow. But, is there any other reasons? I am shooting for 600 horse when all is said and done, is this something i should do?

No. It is not needed at 600 or even 700hp.
