I'm looking into getting a drive pressure gauge and tried searching for some insight on what would be the better choice to go with, mechanical or electric, and the downfalls of each. Wanted to get some opinions from members that either have ran one or are running one. I'm looking more towards the reliability factor. The electric gauge is almost $100 more but I'd go that route if I only have to buy it once. TIA.

I like to go fast

I have a fluid filled one in my puller with 2 needles one tells me my high point

I just run a mechanical boost gauge for drive pressure. I put a shut off valve at the copper to plastic adapter. Open the valve to test drive on a new setup, and shut it once i have some solid numbers.

Mechanical is the way to go I've had the electrical sensor quit reading after 15 minutes of runtime even with a good trap

I ended up getting a mechanical with a JGS particle trap. Thanks everyone
