I have read online people referring to all of those turbos as well as the S400s. HX40, HX50, on and on. Makes it tough to decide. I am currently looking at a K31 off a detroit, because theres like 10 at my local junkyard.
I copied this from another forum (it could have even been here for all I know):
BorgWarner S364.5 SXE 64.5/73 .91 or 1.0 housing
BW S363 SXE 63/73 1.0 or 1.10 housing
^^^^^ those two should be pretty responsive
BW S366 SXE 66/73 .91 or 1.0 housing
^^^^^ will have a touch more lag than the other two.
...more lag, more top end

Biggest thing is pushing more fuel to get to the desired horse power. Some guys say pick a turbo and fuel up to it. Which increases EGTs. I think intercoolers help but depends on the load your pulling and how you drive it more. From my research any S300 for your application would work best. One with a 1.0 AR Housing.
But I am having trouble sizing a turbo myself so keep that in mind....
