Duramax 7.8

Anybody ever think about putting one of these in something ? It looks pretty compact for 7.8 liters.

I see a couple bad things. #1, it doesnt come with an ECM. #2, hardly any aftermarket support for the 7.8

I know it would require a custom tune but if it proves to be as tunable as the Duramax and has the strength of an inline it could be a force to be reckoned with.
Not this particular motor a whole doner truck would be better.Rich

All I can say, is PPE would be the guys to call. If so, then you REALLY got a monster!

Would you be able to EFIlive tune it with a new ECM? Seems to me that 7.8L would be able to spool a pretty big turbo/turbos
