Don't forget to tell them they need to change the upper belt pulley to the 6.7 one to fit! That's on a third gen don't know about the 12v set up

Yup what he siad^ I know it's a really common swap in the 5.9cr world, but I don't know if the 12v guys or if the vp trucks can use this.

Appreciate it, Nick

It is viscous fluid filled like the fluidampnr balancers. Good upgrade for the 5.9 trucks, IMO.

I actually replaced it with a fluidampnr balancer in an effort to get the clutch as quiet as possible. The fluidampnr didn't change the idle noise and I'm not sure that it benefited the truck at all over the oem unit.

First I heard that there was more than 1 version of 6.7 dampener. Good to know. What is the difference?

I tried looking into that. I know the part number changed in 2011 and the new ones cost a lot more. Other than being painted black vs raw like the older ones, I don't know what the difference is.

Old cummins part number 4933224. New 5285679. Fan pulley 4930580.
