This is what the smarty is bringing up on my truck...

Time for a new ecm or just a reflash or what? Whats the cheapest way to get this taken care of. Truck is being sold and need problem fixed asap.
 
The smarty is a friends and loaded with tntr. My smarty has been gone for months. U think the ECM is ok and it's a error with the smarty?
 
U cant load TNTR to your truck. It's vinlocked to your buddies truck.

I know, I had my own tntr on mine and took the truck and smarty back to stock when the motor blew. I was only using his smarty to scan my truck and clear codes. Was not trying to tune it..
 
Typically when smarty doesn't understand the os in the ecm it says "error unknown software", which means u have to update smarty. Thus kissing tntr goodbye. Your issue sounds like its a communication error with your ecm.
