Just an update for you all, we've recently taken possession of our new hardware prototypes that include SCI communications. Once we've tested the prototypes, the fun will start (development). Ross is really looking forward to the next few months, especially now he has released 3 (E37, E39, E78 all Gasser ECM's) of the 8-10 new controllers planned for this year.

FlashScan V2 was never designed with Cummins in mind, so we've had to redesign hardware to develop Cummins support.

Short answer is YES - Cummins will be on it's own hardware.

I'll try and post some pics later today

well from what i read all of us chevy guys are going to have to buy new stuff to tune the dodges instead of just an update...?
 
The plan is to have support for the CAN based controllers first, then add support for the SCI controllers (03-05). We don't have plans to go earlier than 2003

New hardware is needed because the existing hardware isn't compatible with SCI, so it's not physically possible to do it with a software upgrade.

my buddies have efi live on their dmax's, and i love how they can tune every aspect you can think of on their trucks. hurry up please, i'm tired of the out of the box tuners
 
It's Macro man they don't wont to lose the strong hold on their market. Even though I think the PPE Hot 2 is better.

They have been saying this for a while and about every 6 months it's getting closer. Stand Alones will be out and tuned before this is out.
 
I'm gonna go out on a limb that there will be a 300hp+ unleashed the first day we stick a standalone 5.9 CR on the dyno.
 
Untill it gets figured out, there will be lots of carnage for sure. Some of the learning on the duramax can be applied but there will be growing pains.
