Was thinking about using the Smarty on my truck. How did the EJWA work with your setup? Im getting ready to install the vgt on my 01. Should Igo with the smarty or EJWA?

That's really like comparing apples to oranges. Smarty for our truck is not near as powerful as the Juice. Smarty is about 65 hp and the Edge is 120hp. This box has the Hot unlock, which means it can fuel to 3200 rpm instead of defueling at ~2700 rpm. I like the way my truck runs with the Edge. I have had a Smarty, a Quad Adrenaline, an old quad fuel box, and now this Edge. The Smarty gave the biggest difference off idle. However, it makes the throttle touchy and is kinda smokey. The quad boxes were not very smooth. They were powerful but not very smooth. I would say that I like Edge better for every day driving.
