Electrical woes

Both of my batteries are in the red zone. Truck runs like a top still once I get it bump started. I noticed it on today's 400km drive home. During the drive there was no problem starting. It was only after starting the truck where it laboured a bit before firing at a stop 20km from home. I noticed the ABS light came on and then saw the voltage meter was low. I don't have much electrical draw other than my phone charger and gauges. As in my signature, it is an 04 model year bought in Nov/03. Could it be my batteries have taken a crapper or is there something more extensive?

seems a bit early to me, but hard to say. take a hydrometer to the batteries and see what they say.

Thanks. I had to get the truck towed to my buddy's shop and he diagnosed crapped batteries and an intermittent alternator. Two new batteries and a new alternator needed.

Its hard using a motorbike to pick up lumber. LOL
