gene ... have you heard anything lately from Elkins Motor Speedway in Elkins, West Virginia. they have cancelled their tractor pull for September 5 and their weight sled is listed for sale on E-Bay. and if you check their updated web schedule they do NOT list your August NADM event. we have heard negative rumors coming from Elkins.....:umno:
 
The sled is for sale and the pulls are off. Every business that AJ has is dirt oriented and the weather is killing him. There are pulls that this sled is booked for. If it doesn't sell they will not happen. It's a bad situation for everyone involved. This isn't hearsay, I talked to AJ.
 
No, I haven't heard.. the phone must be broken......

West Virginia and canceled pulls... seems to be habit down there.
 
I used to wonder why Pennsylvania pulls never really got going until July-now i know.

Yep, NADM hook August first is canceled. Hope he can weather the storm, so to speak. Tough year.
 
I hate to see him sell the sled. AJ is a good guy that's trying. The weather has been nothing but rain.
