Engine Rotation

What direction does the engine (crankshaft) rotate when looking at it from the front to back? I thought it was clockwise, but I can't remember.

Clockwise I believe. Usually, you can put a socket on the crank bolt, and the direction that tightens the bolt is the direction the engine turns

Yup you can also look at the direction of the fan blades if it is still on the motor.
