Error Uploading Photo's

I get this error
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 16777216 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 10200 bytes) in /home/wideopen/public_html/forums/photo/image-inc.php on line 84 when I upload a jpeg that is about 500kb-600kb..

I don't get whats going on? I checked and you have plenty of space in your Photo Gallery? Make sure you create an album and not just upload into a general category.
 
I don't get it . I tried it under two different usernames and it worked fine?
 
Tried it again and no luck.. After I select the pics I click submit and when the next page comes

Is when the error comes up...
 
Try to log in as me and see if it does it to you..
 
OK It did the same to me. I'll have to get with the software people and find out whats up?
 
What size are the images you are trying to upload?

The maximum width and height is 1250 X 1250 Pixels.

I think this may be the problem?

Its possible that they might be bigger that 1250 X 1250

but.. Why cant the "system" resize it for us???

The system can , the problem is the bigger the picture the more space it eats up.
 
As far as I can tell there isn't an option to re-size images automatically.
