Factory fuel gauge ohm's

Does anyone know the range of the factory fuel gauge for a 12V? I am installing a fuel cell in my truck and the range on the sending until is 0-90 OHM's. I was wondering if I would be able to hook up the sending unit on the cell straight to the factory gauge or not.....
