what size is the fitting in the block for the oil feed line. does any one know where to get a -8 fitting for the fuel feed on the pump.

The pipe is around 11mm in OD, pretty fine thread. Its not your usual NPT stuff. Cummin's will have it, not sure how much though. You will want a tee to go with it, has -4 JIC ends.

I got my 14mm to -8 JIC fitting from a local hydraulic shop. Was a chore to find though, only one shop in a city of a million people had metric to JIC fittings.

If I remember correctly the stock feed location ont he pump is M14x1.5...but it is a helicoil. If you pull the coil out it becomes an M16x1.5 which is what I used.

Also those blue aluminum fittings are OK...but I really prefer to go to my local hydraulic line supply house and get a steel metric to male JIC fitting because it comes with an o-ring and washer to seal it rather than using any pipe goo or tape on the threads.

This is what I use...

9068-08-16 1/2" Male JIC x M16x1.5 Male Metric (Steel) $4.55

from a local place...but you can find them here...
Hydraulic Fittings - 9068 | JIC 37° Male x Metric Male

for the oil fitting they have them too...
9068-04-10 1/4" Male JIC x M10x1 Male Metric (Steel) $2.84
