Ford super duty cummins motor mount question

Why is it that most people use first gen dodge mounts for their cummins super duty swaps? I'm fixing to do an Excursion swap and would rather use my 2nd gen dodge mounts which I've seen done once or twice but most use first gen ones. Any logic here?
I will be doing my own fab work to make the mounts adapt to Ford frame.
Thanks!
Eric

Also I plan to use my nv4500, anyone hook their neutral safety switch to a clutch safety switch? Not how most do it but should provide Kosher factory like operation?

My truck uses second gen mounts. The Previous owner, Shawn Dance from Hillsboro, OH, did the initial swap, had a nv4500, I swapped it to G56. I believe the trans selector is wired in the neutral position and then just tied to the frame.

Yes I've seen yours and a couple others that used second gen mounts which to me are a lot better than first gen mounts plus I already have them. Just don't understand why all the conversion companies use first gen ones. I initially planned on hot wiring the safety switch but then figured it would be more factory like if wired it to clutch so it became a clutch safety switch like manual trucks have.
