I have a buddy that wants to take the W/T bumper and grille out of his 05 GMC and put in one of the higher trim level grills and bumpers. Can it be done some what easily?

Same body style? If so ya it should be pretty easy.

yeah he just wants to get rid of the plastic crap and have a nice bumper and grill

It shouldn't take but a few hours to do. The grille comes out in minutes if you've done it more than a couple times.
The clips that hold the painted valance on can be a pain but I'd almost pull the bumper where they're easy to get to.

Well now that I look at it better if he pulls the lower valance of and paints it and cuts out the fog light holes. Then all he would need is the chrome trim pieces for the grill its self. Am I correct ?
