Front timing cover rear gasket

Have a customer that needs the timing cover gasket between the cover & block replaced, going to do it for him. Just wondering if it could be done with out pulling the cam the whole way out, what if you pulled the cam out untill it touched the radiator, that should give you about 6 inches to work with in. Any thoughts ?

You could get the cover out with less than an inch, but IMHO, it's not worth the aggravation of having the radiator there. I'd take off the core support, rad & CAC to actually have access.
