I've never gone out of my way to cool fuel down, but for the sake of keeping a big pump happy at high rpm I have in mind to do it. My thought was to simply put the final fuel filters in the ice box. Simple, cheap, and effective. I wouldn't think gelling would be a issue.

Anyone have input on the subject?

I put a napa transmission cooler in my ice box to cool return fuel, Shane Roark suggested cooling the fuel when I bought his pumps. Worked really good to keep the 9 gallon fuel cell temp stable throughout the run. Without it the fuel cell temp would get hot enough to be just uncomfortable to hold your hand on.

The way this is going to be set up, it would be easy to put the filters in the ice box and a return cooler also.
