having a trans issue I've seen before a couple of times.
Pretty stock trans and motor has a smarty JR. With a heavy load going up a hill
from a stop it will just rev but will not go forward. just a creep even in first manual just no forward motion! 4x4 lo and it will pull load forward. what is happening here why would it do this? Some sort of defuel or slippage?
I can free rev, spin the trans in 3rd under a heavy load like it's slipping. just the sitting there floored really sucks! When empty no load will drive normal. except 3rd which will slip under full throttle.

Your first problem was throwing a tuner on and then towing with a stock trans...

How does reverse work? Sounds like your forward clutches are smoked.

This is the best one yet, so when it starts slipping you floor it huh just in case that helps.

Sometimes I wonder if these posts are real, like just seeing what the replies are going to be.

Well you clearly weren't slipping the gears hard enough......

Do it again and try it more......

Put the truck in neutral, rev to about 3000 rpms, and slide the shifter into D.

And he charges people to work on their stuff... clown.

I'd do an Asian trans swap.

Which model? I hear they're both good at pulling loads!

These threads get better and better. Hold her wide she’ll come outta it.:what:

Have you changed the trans filter and fluid?

nope not slipping in first just stalled out no forward movement. like power braking it but tires won't spin! it only slips in 3rd so that clutch pack is wasted! I love shaking the tree see what falls out! The usual turds showed up but got a few new ones now!

I've seen it before never really got an answer except might be a limp mode feature.
