looking at the spec's for each turbo, i see both offer a 73.8mm compressor, somewhere inbetween a s471, and a s475, obviously the 4502 has the bigger turbine, im thinking about doing a compound setup, would the 4202 suffice for a primary with a 82mm turbine with say a 1.15 T6 turbine housing, or do i need to consider the 4502 with the 87mm turbine. just toying the idea around in my head, i know these chargers are very $$$, and i could get the same results with a s475, but with the 62 on top, it would be fun to have a primary that spools very quickly out on the street. the two garrett part #'s i am looking at are the 800269-8(GTX4202), or the 800269-11(GTX4502). discuss please....

For a twin application you better left going with the GTX45 based unit. You will want the larger turbine wheel to keep drive pressure down. You will still get the spool you want with the DBB.

Agreed. The only drawback with the GT45 is the T4 housing.

You got that right. We have the T6 housings though for them now as well. :evil . Picked up about 30rwhp by going from 1.01 T4 to 1.01 T6.
