I finally got the twins hooked back up today, and while I'm not particularly happy with the fitment, everything is shoehorned into place for the time being.
Problem is, I have a nasty exhaust leak...
When I got the new exhaust housing for the S358 it had a different mounting method. The old housing was wastegated, and had a v-band hook up. The new housing is non wastegated, and has a bolt on flange for the interturbo manifold
To get the truck up and running for road tests, I bolted it tight and hoped for the best. It works, but it leaks something bad.
I haven't found a gasket for this anywhere. some of the local wrenches were recommending the copper RTV gasket maker, but when I looked into it its only rated for 700 degrees.
What is everyone using for gaskets if you can't find the right part? bead rolling water jet cut stock? I'm open to ideas.
Thanks for the help
