I'll will be looking to buy a cam soon and need to know what one will be best for my set up. It's my daily driver and It will hit the strip quite often once it warms up. I don't tow anything anymore with it.

Here's my setup it's a 1992 5 speed, 175 p-pump, full cut dv's, 5x16's, 95 fass, 19* timming, 4gsk, super phat shaft 66mm, and ofcoarse valair clutch 4" exhuast. So what cam will be best I will want to buy a cam, springs, and pushrods.

Thanks, Chris

You will want the biggest thing you can put in that will clear the pistons. The 188/220 will fit fine if you havent cut your head and/or block, and are willing to check the clearance.

If you don't want to go through the trouble then go with the 181/210.

Goodluck with your build.

Ok thanks nothng has been decked. Will running a thicker head gasket help with some clearence? I'm trying to buy the right parts the first time, it's comming slow but don't want to have to change anything big later on. Thanks for the help!

If you have not had anything decked the nyou will probably be able to runthe 188/220 without the thicker gasket. Put it in and check clearances on cylinder #1. If it is too tight then you might go to a thicker gasket. I would not change it if you don't have too.
