Gov housing leak?

just put a 215 pump on my truck, and its leaking oil out of the gov housing right at the split behind the gov spring hole. can I take the back off and replace the seal there, or does it need to go to a pump shop? seems like I should be able to do it but figure I'd better ask first.
 
nobody has messed with this at all? I hate to take it somewhere if its an easy fix.
 
you can do it yourself. its not as easy as you think tho. you can call me if you cant get the rear cover off. ill guide you thru it. 812-229-1290
 
I guess it will be the best to take it back off the engine. may be a week or two til I can do that. I've been dealing with oil leaks for a year now!

Thanks guys, got it back together, it was actually really simple once I got the pump off and sitting on the bench. forgot to take any pics while I had it apart though!
