does any one know what kind of boost a gt42r turbo will make on the lbz and what kind of spool up time it has
 
it will depend on what supporting mods that you have on the truck. Tell us what are your mods and we will have a better idea.
 
i am looking at turbos to go with a efi live tune i am planning on getting 550-600 at the wheels but i tow a lot and i want something that will keep up and i really dont want to put head studs in either

Close to 70psi, and quite laggy. if you tow alot DO NOT get a 42, get a 40. the 40 will support 600 quite easily.
 
i have a gt40r88 that was a good charger but i changed to a custom charger that is a little bit bigger than a 42 and its not laggy at all. i think it act better than a stock charger on spool up. but i think a gt 40 woud be a great charger for u
