H11 Headstuds 12v

I have a set of H11 head studs for a 12v that are used. They have been re torqued 3-4 times the shop that installed them did grind a bit on the top to clear my covers asking $300 shipped

Hey can I get a picture of those? I just had a failure and it was blamed on corrosion. They were slightly discolored.

So... just above where the nut sits?
Was it bottom tapped and seated all the way down first?
Why didnt you grind the webbing off of your valve covers instead?

I would have the shop that installed them did all the work and yes right above where the nuts sit
