Wondering if I can put an hx40w exhaust housing on an h1e. I know the hx35/h1c exhaust housings can interchange. I have a 63mm h1e and am picking up and ht3b to twin it and need to wastegate the h1e. Been also thinking of hybriding it with an h1c I have and using an hx35w 14cm exhaust housing (h1e/c/hx35)

HX40 exhaust housings will fit. Done that before. You just need to make sure you get the retaining straps for the housing you intend to use, as the HX40 ones were different than the H1E ones I removed.

I've been thinking about building a similar hybrid turbo out of junk I have laying around here too, just to try it out. Haven't came up with the motivation or time to do it though.
