Help picking a tire size

Ok guys I am going to order my new tires tomorrow and can't decide on a size. I currently have 305/40/22's but I'm stuck between those and 305/45/22's. My current ones only rub when coming up over the curb into the driveway and it is on the front plastic inner fender and not any sheet metal. I know they are very close in size but I have no plan to drop the front of the truck and the back will go down a little more. I would just like to fill the fenders all the way up.

305/40/22= 31.6x12 (current size)
305/45/22= 32.8x12

Well I was going to say ditch em and go with the 45's. But then I looked at the pics and changed my mind..

I will more than likely stay with the 305/40's. I would like to go a bit bigger but worry about them fitting and not rubbing.
