there's at least two or three more that are in the the 700-740 club from back in 2001 at the May Madness event---Diesel Dynamics truck was 738 I think with NOS, not sure what pump, but I'm guessing SO----and there was CUMMNSTRKN at like 731 or 735 with NOS and SO pump and I think there was one other that was up there or maybe 2 more.....chris

HEY CUT IT OUT CHRIS!!!:hehe: I'm close enough to the bottom of the list. J/K ya man. There are for sure a lot more vp trucks out there making bigger numbers. I bought the vp truck a few years ago for more room with the kids, but I still love my 'ol 12 valve.

BTW- What's the guys name with the blue pulling truck with the fass sticker. It's a vp truck I'm pretty sure.

Hi Hoss!! What did that thing make when you bought it, If I remember correctly it was something like 692 or 792. I remember we were 10 off from Donnelly's(sp) p-pumped truck at May Madness in 02. Man that was a while back... LoL

Hey Chris, is that right? Did Nowel make more than the 690's? I cant remember if it was 692 or 792, Seems like a long time ago. RIP botha!!
 
Adam--I don't recall him breaking 700 and I didn't recall 690's but now that you mention it 692 kind of rings bell--I need to go over to the TDR and see if I can dig some old stuff up and double check. He went to so many more events than I did and dyno'd with NOS at some and without NOS at others that he was hard to keep up...chris

fixed! very impressive numbers. i love hearing about innovators far ahead of their time.
 
Wicked_Intent did 520/1050 corrected on Beans dynodynamics last year. He's runnin cleaner tuning now, and the truck is running way better, so I'd expect better numbers.

EDM'd 200hp inj, 64/71/14 turbo, 3pc. manifold, Hamilton 110# springs, ARP Studs, O-Ringed head, and I think he's runnin a blue chips (?) 44.

I think the first dyno runs I made with Nowels truck was in the high 6's but it had issues, head gasket ect....
Back then I wanted baddly for the Rocket to be the first VP to hit 800 but I got in a hurry to make power and went to a P-Pump.
 
Karl Mireiter hit 851hp Monster VP44 fuel only at the HTS dyno day sometime last year.
 
542 uncorrected on fuel with 150 sticks, a 62 turbo and an II HRVP. See sig.
 
i need a hrvp, hey mat did you ever dyno with yours new pump and lines?
 
Rex I don't think he has yet. Looked like a fun time in Redding but hot. Mat was talking about need a little juice to get it to spool easier at the line. If so that thing is gonna fly and he'll need a cage for sure
 
ya I havent dynoed yet... considering I will be in portland next weekend, it was soo hot in redding, portland should see better numbers! We will see I cant wait! might Join the dark side a use a little shot, maybe lol
