Homemade exhaust manifold

I have been pondering making my own exhaust manifold, I'm wondering if anybody else has, if so any pics? Anything to watch out for if I get around to building one?

Joe Hellmann builds exhaust manifolds.It looks like the machined parts and fabrication could get pricey.
