Has anyone here done one on a 7.3? If so could you tell me what I am going to expect to see for problems. I was planning on using grand rocks stack kit but that is only for the stack and ring to bolt to the hood. I am on my own to plumb from the turbo to the stack.

Agreed.
After more thinking, research, and asking questions I decided not to go through with it. I wanted to do it because nobody else has it on the road; everybody (at least around here) have single or dual stacks. I found there is not a law here (according to a local cop) regarding placement of the exhaust. He said if a cop wanted to give me a hard time about it they technically could give me an obstruction of view violation but he said I shouldnt have much to worry about. After talking to a few pullers around here that have hood stacks I found out that they get a lot of soot on the windshield and roof, which makes sense I just didnt think about it. That was my main reason for not doing the hood stack.
