how many computers are on a 06 dodge CR with a manual transmission. was wanting to swap ecm with another 06 manual but throws invalid skim key code and dies. I figure if I switched both or all controllers with the other truck it would work. Anyone know? will need to know where other computers are located also.

I just want to try it by swaping with my other truck to see what the calculated load does. I will want to switch back. Where is BCM located and how hard is it to swap out?
 
Skimkey code is quite normal with a truck that has a programmer on it. Dosent seem to affect anything. I have had that code on my dodge since the very first programmer I had on it

so you haven't driven it since that day? seems like a waste of a truck!
 
I put on over 100k with that code.. almost every dodge I have worked on has that code too after certain programmers go on.
