hi guys, well i havent been on here in about ooh 2 years. at the time i had a 92 W150. well for for a little over a year i've been the proud owner/ builder of a 1st gen and for 3 months a 01 quad cab short box 24v.
well the 1st gens been thru alot. started life as a 1990 2wd with a get rag and 4:10's. first thing i did was the fuel screw and straight pipe, it wasnt in the best of shape but with 167k miles and my first diesel i loved it. but i wanted a 4wd, so i tried making it 4wd in my high schools auto shop, it kinda worked but kinda not. Then i found a 92 W250 without an engine but otherwise complete. OD said 350k.....i took both trucks and made what i drive now. in the process, i went to the high school kegger....no i didnt drive after i got there. im smarter than that. i also parked the truck 200 yards back away from the party. long story short it got hit and crushed the box enough to push the bed floor up. i bought a new box for $100 and just this last winter i bought a MFG flatbed for $500 while i was attending my 1st year of Diesel Tech.
the mods now are in my sig. but here are some pics. sorry for the small ones and any bad quality ones. the most current is the flatblack with window tint. that is how it looks now and im on DTR and the cumminsforum as W150CTDproject
