Customers truck has a starting issue that requires him to give it a sniff of ether to get it running. I'm not sure what year, (I'm thinking 04) has 48k on it and is a farm truck. He is running an edge tuner on L2, we are having him run it stock to see if that helps any but I have a hunch after reading it might be the ICP.

Any thoughts?

I'd scan the low pressure and high pressure oil. It could be the LPOP going or something as simple as the ICP sensor. The FICM can also cause similar issues, but it will normally worsen quickly and general drivability and power is down.

Thank you guys I'll have to look at those items when he comes back.

warranty????

Call the dealer with the vin and check the warranty status, 5yr, 100k.

Alright he came in today so I got to look at it. I graphed his starting ICP pressure/voltage, and IPR. Everything checked out okay on the scanner and it never once took longer than 3 seconds to start up but before he brought it in this morning it would not start for him after 5-10 minutes of driving.
