Injection delay from lines

I would think that line material and ID surface area play more of a role than fluid compression by a long shot. That is why .120 lines have so much delay, the line expands more because the same pressure is on more surface area... Same with longer lines, but not to the extent of bigger diameter lines. Higher pop pressure does the same thing, but because injection pressure is higher, injection duration for a given amount of fuel is shorter on both the front and back sides of the event.
