Just installed gauges, HOLY!

In our experience, the 6.7's will run like that. Dealers have even told customer towing in the hills that 1500 is ok...yikes. But as the other poster said, those temps are perfectly safe, just higher than what most of us consider "normal" I am still waiting to get an EGT gauge on a 6.4 Ford. Their systems are so convoluted, they have to be MEGA hot.

Yeah your right I guess the shock of the temps blew me away. It's still stock other than the muffler delete cool duals. I figure the 6.7 was designed for the temps. Just trying to figure a baseline. Coming from a 7.3 PSD to the 6.7Cummins I just wasn't used to seeing these high temps. Once I figure out how to get some pics posted I'll post. As for the beer, HELL YEAH!:Cheer:

These trucks are gonna run the higher temps because the exhaust has to go through the turbo, particulate filter, cat, muffler. so its gonna get hot with all the restrictions.
