late 70s isuzu pickup

Well I found a late 70's isuzu pickup. It has a non-turbo diesel four banger. Runs good and it has a 5speed that seems to be in good shape. Does anyone have any experience with these. I want to park on of our late model gassers and replace it with this. Body is free of rust and has minor dents. What should I expect to pay.

I know a guy who ran a diesel LUV truck for ever and a day it seems. They have the same engine and from seeing his it never gave him any problems. Don't anything about the value though.

How many miles? I have had two of them and loved them. The non turbo motor is the one you want. They will last for ever if you leave them alone. i had a 86 with a turbo and it got 28 mpg but my friend has one and he gets 35 mpg. with 325,000 miles (non-turbo). If it has low miles i would jump all over that.
