Let's see your pullin hitches!!!

Here is ours for the tube frame...we did the same sort of thing for our 3.0 truck we are currently trying to sell.

Here are a couple of shots of mine. Been pulling on it for 2 seasons now. I just repainted it and modified it some to keep it being able to move up. Also built some sled stops.

So whats the advatage to the superstreet style hitches? Your still pullin down on the truck at the rear of the truck... i think im missing something... good thread though i need to make my sled stops tomorrow ill post up what i come up with. what width are you guys running the sled stops? Frame width?

My stops are just inside the frame. Superstreet hitches transfer the weight towards the front of the truck more. Some kind of crazy geometry stuff.

Here is what stillsmokin and me have been workin on this week. Jeff designed it and I have done about 90% of the welding on it and it is not finished yet, it will eventually have another bar coming off the center of the truck and tying in to the "Reese" hitch. It will technicly have a removable drawbar.

This was tonights project, I put about 5 hour into this welding it up. Lotso passes. I put about 15 passes on where the 2" bar stock meets the hitch channel because of the deep bevel I put on there. That was done with a 6011 root and 7018 cover passes. On the gussets I put down 6 passes on the out side all done with 7018.

Before Gussets

OHHH, Its the cuss word filter. Thats supposed to say jeffs hitch.

Hmmm, how do I fix that?

Big fail for me but I will redeem myself.

Jeff dersigned it and I welded 95% of it.

Should be testing it tomorow in Johnson NE
