Let's discuss. When would it be a absolute have to have for a 12v cummins. What horsepower or sustained rpm would a person need to put a counterweighted or full counterweighted crank along with a set of hd rods and girdle. I've been told anything underload over 5300 rpms you need a crank and girdle. Hopefully some of the high horsepower sled guys will chime in here. What is the best girdle as far as ease of installment and actually ties all the main caps and oil pan together out there? Which crank is better? Fully counterweighted or partially counterweighted?
