lockup switch

I wired up a lockup switch on my 96ctd today and it would lockup 1 time then go to limp mode. then put a 33om res in line and it does nothing at all now. has any one had this happen too? my 00 12v has a 47rh and the lockup wire is hooked thru a switch then to ground and it work great.

Jumper the power train relay.

yep what he said,take the relay out for the transmission under the hood and replace it with a small jumper wire.Go to the tst site and go under installation instructions and an option will come up under that.It shows what wire to pierce and where to jump
