Yup. Been a while.
Update: Went and got my NHRA Sportsman Competition License.
My brother offered his alky Duster for the passes. I jumped at the chance...... :tree:
My first hit in his car ( new to me, I never drove it $.02 )
My reaction time was .150, why? Cause here is stupid sitting in the driver's seat thinking he's spooling a turbo and I left well above his launch rpm's specified..... wned: :bang
Next r.t. was .08*........
Then 3rd hit in the car, required to burnout, pre stage, stage, take the tree and run it out to the 330' under full monkey. I guess I shook the rust off cause I reacted with a .007.........LOL
Mike(brother) was running the event which had the piggy back test and tune session ( I was in the t&t ) He won the Bye for his class with best reaction time of the class- he went .009.... when I smacked him with my rt both he and the starter (Karl) both stood at the line behind the car like this:
Was able to get all my runs done in one day. The track crew and owner hurried me along to get it done. Even the guy in the ticket booth told me "Hurry back to the staging lanes, they waiting for you. :thankyou2:
We have timeslips ten minutes apart.
Since that day I have gained enormous interest to what has been collecting frigging dust for years.......:rockwoot:
The hook has been set. HARD
