Tried the new filter assy. from the dealer only replaced two injectors at the time cause of monetary issues and replaced all the hoses to and from filter and Cp3 . Closed off the service port cause it was leaking still same thing. Just wondered if a injector could be leaking down while engine is off? Seems sho nuff possible. But how would you know which one?

There's a good chance the remaining injectors that weren't replaced are returning too much fuel causing the cp3 to have a very hard time building rail pressure while cranking, leading to a no start.

When it comes to the lb7 duramax, you always replace ALL the injectors. And only replace them with BOSCH CERTIFIED reman injectors.

Check your filter housing. Very common issue with the filter housing letting air in but not leaking fuel

Id look at the filter housing first, as Jeremy said above ^. Rebuild kits are readily available and the housing is easy to work on.

This... as soon as you replace the worst ones, the next weakest ones leak more
