lost 3rd gear

47rh driving to work this morning everything was shifting fine. Sat at light and accelerating 1to 2 was fine. wouldn't go to 3rd. any ideas where to start looking? Thanks
 
If you start in neutral and quickly drop it to L, then manually shift to 2nd around 10-15mph, then manually shift to D around 25 mph, does it shift through all the gears or does it hang up one of the shifts and not change gears?
