Low fuel rail pressure

I have a 2007 LBZ Duramax with I'd say close to 300k miles. It's a 2wd standard can long bed dually with flat bed. On top of the flat bed is a U-Haul box and tows a 16' box trailer. He drives to Canada twice a month to haul core converters. Before I touched the truck it has a 4" exhaust, AirDog, and some type of race prof fuel pressure regulator. Last summer he started having low fuel rail pressure so I replaced the injection pump and 6 injectors that failed the return flow. It was fixed till one month ago, and I checked return flow on the last two injectors. Threw them in and it drives fine till loaded up with core converters. It has been 2800 miles since then. I'm lost on what else to look for. All the fuel filters were replaced before he left.

I have seen the tank get nasty rusty metal like stuff I there and clog the sock.
No leaks anywhere. Should the AirDog push through the two AirDog filters and the factory filter?
