I'm looking for a set of non-coated marine pistons PN 286050, I was told that is the old outdated number. I found 644-930036515 on Jegs and various other go fast websites. The few dimensions they list match the drawing I have for the 286050, just want to make sure it is, in fact, the same piston.

The part number you posted are the Mahle Powerpak pistons. If memory serves me correctly, those are based off of the 286140 pistons instead of the 286050. Although very similar designs. The 286140 have a little less compression and a little more bowl capacity.

3802170 std
3802172 .020
3802174 .040
These are the cummins cross to the marine 286050 piston#. I get them through McBee.

They look to be discontinued through Mahle/Clevite. I think I have a set of .020's here though.

I was thinking just the coated ones were discontinued.

I show A Mahle # of
224-3522 on the non-coated.. You could be right though, I haven't checked on them in a while.

Not sure. Since the dikheads decided to supersede all the piston numbers, I'm lost. I had all the old numbers pretty much memorized. When I get a chance to do some poking around, I'll check. I need to cross all numbers both directions in the computer so I don't have to scratch my head anymore.
