I am hoping some of the body repair guys have some tips on removing the sound deadening mat that is glued to cab floor in my 95 reg cab. I have tried numerous solvents (acetone, mineral spirits) with little luck, in addition to trying wire wheel and flapper wheels on grinder. The wheels just heat the stuff up and they slick over after a few minutes and are less than effective. I have even tried dry ice to freeze it so I could break it off with no luck. I need to get it out ASAP since truck is going to fab shop for cage install next week and I don't want to have to work around the cross bars. Planning on trying a torch next and heat it up and try to scrape it out, but if someone knows something that works better I am all ears. Thanks
